NIGHT OF LIGHTS 2011: SUNDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 18
One of our most beloved neighborhood traditions, Night of Lights has been bringing sparkle and warmth to Watts Hospital-Hillandale for more than 25 years. On Sunday evening, December 18, glowing luminaries will line hundreds of driveways and yards in our neighborhood, bringing us together to celebrate in the dark of winter. Please join us to make Night of Lights 2011 the best one yet! Luminary Pick-Up: Saturday 11/17 and Sunday 11/18, 1-4:30pm, Oval Park.

Come to the picnic shelter on the southern end of Oval Park to buy your luminary supplies. A set of 10 luminaries (bags, candles, and sand) still only costs $5.00. Please bring a bucket or grocery bag for your sand so we can minimize the use of plastic bags. (Do you have any neighbors who may > not be able to purchase/ pick up their luminaries? Please get some extra luminaries and help everyone participate in Night of Lights!)
Last year, we were joined at the picnic shelter by some musicians, carolers, and sweets-sellers- come one, come all!
